From my interpretation of the rules one can’t change drive team members within an event but how about between different events during the season.
No one person can appear as a Drive Team Member for more than one team at a given event. However, you may switch freely between Drive Team Members on your own team at an event, or throughout the season. The only caveat is that these Drive Team Members cannot act as Drive Team Members for any other teams at the same event.
