Answered: Can Robots Break the plane of the field

To get past the tossing of the driver control loads; can the robot extend an arm over the perimeter of the field allowing balls to be placed on the robot without students breaking the plane of the field?

I don’t see a rule that would prohibit this.

Provided that no other rules are violated, especially <S1> (quoted below, some text bolded for emphasis), this would be legal.
