If a robot tries to hang in programming skills, but slips at the last second, and someone catches the robot and places it onto the foam tiles, what happens?

Is the whole skills run invalidated because of this “illegal” maneuver, or does the run still count, and just the hanging part doesn’t?

Any handling of a Robot, outside of what is permitted in the rules, would result in the run being invalidated.
