I Don’t know if you are able to answer this or not.
It seems there are different types of NBN balls. This is to be expected, but different in more aspects than just density.
Was there a change in production early in the season? Different states will have different amounts of each type of balls.

What type is going to be used at Us Open and Vex Worlds competition?

There as no change in production. You are correct that there is some variance in the balls, however this variance is within the specified +/-15% weight tolerance.
