Rule <R3> states
“The following types of mechanisms and components are NOT allowed:
a. Those that could potentially damage playing field components”
Given that the Hanging Bar will potentially have to support the entire weight of two robots, it would be very useful to know not only its structural tolerance, but also if a weight limit will be imposed upon robots this year. I saw <G17>
“All rules in this manual are subject to changes, and not considered official until June 1st. 2013. We do not expect any major changes to take place, however we do reserve the right to make changes until June 1st, 2013”
And became curious, as there isn’t one yet. If you could give us some peace of mind on the issue, that would be fantastic.
