Under this rule could I use polycarbonate that is not cut from the 12x24 sheet (that the rest of my robot’s polycarbonate is cut from) for the purpose for protecting my wires from being hit by stars.
Yes, this would be legal. However it must be very clear to inspectors that this polycarbonate is being solely used for protecting and managing cables. Simply enclosing the entire base of your robot with polycarbonate would be extending beyond the allowance of this rule.
