At a match today a team was using alcohol wipes to clean the Skyrise sections, specifically to try to remove greasy build-up on the sections that was affecting ability to grip the sections. I directed that they couldn’t use the wipes or any chemical cleaner, but if they wanted to simply use a dry cloth or paper towel to clean the sections, that would be okay. I haven’t found any posts or rules regarding what should or should not be allowed for cleaning the sections. What should be allowed or prohibited?

Using a dry cloth or paper towel to clean the Skyrise Sections is permitted, provided teams do so quickly, without delaying the upcoming Match. Applying solvents or any other substance to the Skyrise Sections is strictly prohibited.
