This thread from a couple months ago was the only information I’ve been able to find on the used of acetone with 3D printed parts. It was stated that it’s legal to use for surface finishing on 3D prints. In the 3D printing community it is also commonly used for “welding” two printed parts together. Would it be legal to permanently attach multiple 3D printed parts using acetone as long as the combined part stays within the dimensions of 3"x6"x6" in ? This seems like it would still be in the spirit of the rules. It would allow for more creative use of 3D printing, and easier fabrication of parts that would normally require lots of support material if printed as one big piece.
No, this is not legal. <R15b> from the general Game Manual still applies.
