Answered: Competition Switch Simulator Will Not Activate

We just switched from VEX V.5 to VEXnet. We tried running with the competition template, but the autonomous program did not run. Then we tried to use the competition switch simulator. When we open it we get this message -
“Cannot activate competition switch simulator. Failed to write device.”

We have master code 2.7 installed, and EasyC 4.0.1.5.

We are hoping you can help us with this.

We re-downloaded the “Prolific USB Driver for USB to Serial cable”, and both problems went away.
