So here it was ruled that

A cube could be moved from a position that would normally be undescorable to a position that is normally descorable.

My confusion is when it is a different color and the other alliance didn’t notice what happened.

In the video “blue” alliance descored a red cube and left the blue in a confusing location. Red alliance would then believe they could descore that blue cube.

The idea of basing the legality of an action based on prior action done by other robots is scary to me. Would the statement

Thus it would be illegal to remove the blue Cube.

change if it is a different robot descoring than had moved the cube. (this would have a less confusing but would allow tag team descoring that I don’t believe is supposed to be allowed.](Vex Skyrise Descore (illegal?) - YouTube)

Yes, it’s not the simplest situation to enforce, however it has been done in past VRC games, namely, VEX Gateway.

No, the ruling is he same regardless of the colour of the Robots and Cubes. The “tag team descoring” that you described is the exact situation we are trying to avoid with this rule.
