Our school always fields 2 robots each year. This year we are considering designing 2 robots that would work together to achieve a high elevation. Such a system would likely have to be proprietary and would not work with robots not designed with it in mind. According to the rules, is there any guarantee that we would always be alliance partners?
Or would we ever be allied to another team which would not be compatible with our lift?
There is absolutely no guarantee that your two teams will be partnered together in any given Match. However, based on simple probability it’s almost an absolute certainty that you would be partnered with teams not compatible with your lift.
