When my team was at worlds after the game announcement and the release of the new elements we were handed a black engineering note book. I am just wondering if that specific notebook is required or if we are still allowed to use any book like we have in past years minding the proper layout. If this book is just a suggestion then thank you very much for a cleanly laid out example of a proper notebook.
The Awards Appendix which outlines all official rules regarding the engineering notebook will be released shortly.

The notebooks that are being given to teams are to help them understand what an engineering notebook looks like. The Awards Appendix and other Judging materials may be found at:

Teams **are not required **to use the Notebooks supplied by the REC foundation.
