Does anyone know where you can register for a time slot to be interviewed by world competition judges (for the excellence award). I searched vex.com and robotevents.com and couldn’t find where to sign-up for the required interview. If anyone could help, that would be great.
No need to sign up in advance – every time will have a judging session. The pre-signups were only for certain awards that require extra time in judging. Every team will be considered for the other awards.
Rick, I heard that you have to sign up for a design award interview to be able to qualify for the excellence award. Sadly, registration closed 4/1/2011 for that.
There are prerequisites for being considered for an Excellence Award at Worlds, but there is no separate judging process.
