Answered Expander Functions

Hey! I just got my Vex Power Expander and hooked it up to the robot and everything. It works, but I am wondering what is it suppose to do? Does the power expander make the motor run fast? Stronger? Or longer?

When I hook the expander, it slowed down the spin of the motor?

Did I do something wrong or am I just imagining things?

Setup
Short cable extend attached to the microcontroller to the power expander, and motor connected to the power expander. Both full charged 7.2 batteries are hooked up. Green light on controller, transmitter, microcontroller, an power expander.

**In depth information on the VEX Power Expander can be found in the Wiki here:
https://vexforum.com/wiki/index.php/Power_Expander

“The VEX Power Expander is used for adding a secondary power source to power up to 4 VEX Continuous Rotation Motors or VEX Servos. The Power Expander enables the user to spread a VEX robot’s motor load across two batteries, extending run time and increasing performance.”**

Okay, sorry. Didn’t understand the english of the description that well. (Math kind of guy) But thanks!
