Answered: Follow up to SG9 incidental pushing multiple cones

Referees might (by necessity) be overlooking some “incidental control” of multiple cones, here are two examples illustrate the concept…

Here VERY briefly a robot that is holding a cone backs into and pushes another cone with a concave surface. (bottom middle of frame, 1:27 into video)

Here a robot collects a cone and then, again very briefly, collects a second cone to push out of the way at the same time. (middle right of frame, 1:15 into video)

No doubt neither of these are match affecting violations. Do they warrant a warning? Some teams are obviously trying to avoid these types of situations and driving very carefully, and some teams are less concerned about a potential violation.

As you noted, these are both very brief, incidental, non-match-affecting instances. They appear to be good examples of the following line from SG9:

As such, these do not appear to be violations that warrant a warning or a Disqualification.
