So the modification of electronics has been allowed…

Are college teams allowed to ignore the limit of one Y-splitter? Can we split a signal 4, or even 8 ways by stacking the Y-cable?

If not, are we allowed to modify the Y-cables to have more than two outputs?

No, this is not legal in any VRC competition.
