Answered: Gate "interaction" in college

We were wondering if the gate interaction rules (i.e. cannot interact with the gate for more than 5 seconds, and cannot interact in the last 35 seconds from <SG12>) still apply to College matches as well, considering that the gates can not be lifted in College? If they do still apply that’s fine too, it just rules out certain strategies.

(We joked that perhaps college rules should get DQed because the rules prevent the gates from being lifted for more than 5 seconds!)

The Gate interaction rules do not apply in College. The gates are to be treated similarly to the Fence.
