Answered: In regardess to herding (Toss Up Autonomous)

Currently, our program collects the two bucky balls underneath the hanging bar at the beggining of the match, which totals three balls (in addition to the preload). Then, our robot backs over the bump, hitting the beachball near it and knocking the three buckies into the middle zone in the process. Is this considered herding? We were challenged on it at our last competition and wanted to make sure we wouldn’t be disqualified at higher-level events.
Thanks for the feedback!

Provided that your are not carrying the Large Ball, this type of action would be legal. (The presence of the Large Ball is what differentiates this from the illegal herding that is often seen during the Autonomous Period)
