Answered: Jumper clips in analog/digital inputs

iis there a posibility that a jumper clip can produce a signal that can be read by the code, for example if i put a jumper in digital analog port number 12 what values should it produce or show and can this be used as a variable

**A Jumper on a Digital Input is somewhat the same as when a limit/bumper switch connected, you get 2 possible states. When you read a Digital Input with no jumper, you will read a High. When you add a Jumper to the Digital Input, you will read a Low. You can then use this info as needed in your code. Since we can not help with specific programming questions, I suggest you post any follow up question in the General Section were the VEX Community can help you. **
