I have built a swerve/crab robot for FTC, both swerves move forward but then when i try turning them in reverse it wont budge. i am 100% sure this is not a programming error, also when the motors try to move it makes a rapid beeping noise. when motors are in reverse do they use less torque?
Do the units move in Reverse with No Load? With the motors not connected, can you move the drive shaft on your robot and make your robot’s drive-train move in both Forward and Reverse? Where is the beeping coming from, the motor, controller, transmitter, …?
sorry i found the problem, it turns out my programming partner switched it last second by accident!
Glad you got it working.
