Answered: Looking for a special axel joint

I’m thinking about making a sort of machine that requires an axle to give a rotational movement through a bending joint. This piece connects one end of an axle to the end of another, and can bend to allow the turning of the axle to go on to the next axle. In the past I have seen pieces that allow these kinds of operations, where if the joint bends at too sharp an angle, it won’t turn.

Well, that’s the best way that I can describe it. Since I have less than a year of experience with VEX, my question is: Is there such a piece in the VEX system? What’s it called?

Thanks

You’re talking about a Universal Joint:

There is currently no such piece in the VEX Robotics Design System, but it is something we’ve had requested quite a bit. Maybe you’ll see one soon.

oh :stuck_out_tongue: but thanks a lot!
