Answered: Non-functional LED display

I know LED strips are legal, but would an addressable i2c LED display such as this be considered non-functional:

Providing it does not display anything related to the state of the robot like you would a VEX LCD (battery level, sensor information). Only showing static images, animations, and bad memes, and without using an external battery.

Yes, this would be legal with the restrictions that you mention. It must be entirely non functional and must not use any non VEX batteries. However we ask that you try not to show too many bad memes. :wink: (Seriously, please make sure anything you display is in good taste.)
