There have been a few questions on the form about this previously and I don’t think it has been totally resolved yet. If I paint my chassis or put a sticker on it and that part of my robot where to touch a field object then I would be disqualified? I just want to personalize my robot but I don’t want to run the risk of being disqualified for it. I can see if you were to paint and gripper or something that would give a functioning part of the robot a difference surface property but if you could give me a better idea of what the ruling is meaning I would appreciate it.

You would not be disqualified for this. We do not want teams using using adhesive paints to better grip the game objects. But having painted surfaces and stickers touch Field Elements is fine.
