The GM says that a a parked robot is touching their parking tile.
To extend that point, a robot that is supported by a cone or a mogo that is fully on the parking tile, but is not directly touching the parking tile, would not count as parked, correct?
I know that a mogo supported by a cone in the 20pt zone and the 10pt bar is counted as a 10 point mogo. And by that extension, I assume that a mogo outside the scoring zone, but also partially supported by a mogo in the 5 pt zone would not be scored in a zone at all. Is that correct?
How about a mogo tipped over the starting bar with a cone on it - so that the point/cone end is in the 10pt zone? Counted as a 5pt mogo because there is a cone between the mogo and the field tiles of the 10pt zone?
No. Let’s take a look at the definition of “Scored”, quoted here for reference with a portion bolded for emphasis:
In your hypothetical scenario, you mention that the Mobile Goal is partially Supported by a Scored Mobile Goal. In order to satisfy Note 3 of the definition of Scored, it needs to be entirely Supported. (it also needs to not be touching a Zone)
The Starting Bar is considered part of the 5 Point Zone. Thus, if the Mobile Goal is contacting the Starting Bar, and not contacting the 10 Point Zone, then it would be considered Scored in the 5 Point Zone. Again, Note 3 only applies if the Mobile Goal is not contacting any Scoring Zones.
