VEX has alwas been cool about giving kids freedom in thier robot builds but this year is getting out of control. This past month there have been several teams using explicitly defensive strategies. This is killing the game and is not the spirit of In The Zone. So I am asking, pleading, update the rules to make defensive strategies explicitly against the rules. No one wants to watch a match where a team sits in the 5pt zone not trying to win. These strategies are penalizing teams that are playing the game the way it is intended.
