Answered: Problems logging in to shopping account.

[FONT=Arial]I’m really sorry to bother you, but I’m having a little bit of trouble. [/FONT][FONT=Arial]I sent an email to the contact address [EMAIL=“[email protected]”][email protected] early last Friday morning, but I haven’t heard anything back so I thought I would try posting it on the forum.[/FONT]

[FONT=Arial]I was trying to login to my shopping account to add a part to my wish list and I couldn’t remember my password. I clicked on “Forgot Password” and when I was taken back to the login screen there was a message saying that an email had been sent to me with a new password. I tried this 3 - 5 different times over the weekend, but I never did receive an email.[/FONT]

[FONT=Arial]The only other thing I know to do is to just create a new account and start over which I would rather not do unless I have to. If there is anything you can do to help me, I would really appreciate it.[/FONT]

Hello Allen,

It is possible that the password reset email is being caught by spam filters. Please respond directly to [email protected] for a password reset if needed.

I thought about that, but I don’t know if our internet provider has any or not. I don’t have anything set on Windows Mail and I get junk mail sometimes.

Ricky sent me an email today saying that he had reset my password, but when I tried it - it still didn’t work. Ricky told me to let him know if I still had problems so I sent him an email tonight.

I’m really not sure what’s going on - I’ve forgotten other passwords before and never had any problem receiving the emails and resetting the passwords.

I received your email with my new password - it worked fine this time. I was able to log in to my account and change my password. I think I should probably write it down somewhere this time just in case I forget it again.

I still don’t understand why I didn’t receive the automatic emails. I think I will check with our internet service provider to see if the emails were blocked and if so, why?

Glad everything worked this time. I know I have to write them down - there are way to many to remember and it seems like you are always having to change them…
