Answered: Protractor markings on a robot

We are having a difficult time getting consistent readings from the pots and I was think that if we copied a protractor onto a sheet of lexan and attached it to the robot it would make calibration easier. Obviously we could do it and remove it but I was wondering if leaving something like that on would be a violation.

To take this idea one step further, one might be able to have a light sensor read markings on lexan or just on the structure, we haven’t tried it so I don’t know if it would do any good, but would that be a violation?

Provided that the lexan used fit within the legally allowed allowances, this would be legal.

Thanks. This will be interesting.
