Answered: Pushing, Blocking, Chasing

At least 3 different clarifications requested:

  1. Pushing… a team (A) is blocked by team (B) and can over-power the other robot and pushes it out of the way… across the 12’ playing field. The robots separate.

  2. Blocking… a team (A) is between a goal and a robot (B) attempting to score. The team (A) continues to move in such a way that B cannot reach the goal. Eventually there is brief contact but the robots separate.

2a) Blocking and pushing… a team (A) is between a goal and a robot (B) attempting to score. Team (A) pushes the team (B) robot across the 12’ playing field. Clearly there is contact but the robots separate.

  1. Chasing… a team chases after a robot and goal after goal bumps them such that they cannot score. This goes on for the 2 minutes of the driver portion of the match.

In all four scenarios that you have put forth there are no rules violations.
