Q. Our team hasn’t qualified by competing at an event. Is there some other way we can attend the World Championships?
A. There are two non-tournament ways to qualify. First, you can get on the waiting list. We expect the World Championships to fill up with teams that have qualified through competition, but there is a *small *chance of getting in off the waiting list. Second, win one of six RECF Online Challenges which include qualification for Worlds as a prize, see this.

Lastly, you could always come and volunteer at the event. This may not be quite the same as playing, but being on the inside as an event volunteer can be fun, too. A description of volunteer positions is here, sign-ups are here.
