Is it legal to combine components of the Pneumatics Pressure Regulator and the Flow Control Fitting as shown in the picture below? The silver rectangular shaped piece at the bottom of the assembly was taken from the Pressure Regulator and screwed onto the Flow Control Fitting, shown in the upper part of the assembly. The parts were not cut or reshaped in any way, they were only reassembled.

I have quoted the rule in question.

<R15> Parts may NOT be modified as follows:
a. Motors, extension cords, sensors, controllers, battery packs, reservoirs, solenoids, pistons and
any other electrical component or pneumatics component of the VEX Robotics Design System
may NOT be altered from their original state in ANY way.

The GDC needs some time to discuss this specific implementation. We’ll follow up once we’ve done some investigating.
