Specifically regarding the “controversies” brought up in this thread.

  1. Is it legal to position a robot in front of a goal, hit a sensor and score the objects.

  2. Is it legal to continue to reposition a robot in front of a goal as it is in the act of scoring with the intention of making sure the objects being scored are aimed correctly.

Yes, both strategies are legal, as has been clarified earlier in the Q&A.
