Answered: Returning rings to field

I was wondering, how should rings be returned to the field if they are dropped out.
e.g. If a team picks up a stack of four rings and dumps them out of the field. When the rings get returned, should they be placed as a single stack, spread out, or just dropped in randomly resulting in rings not sitting flat. It can make a big difference for different types of robot designs, if they are not sitting flat, or are in a stack.
While it is unlikely that returning rings will happen much, rings have been dropped out in the past, and it would be good to know how to return them.

Rings will returned in a random fashion close to the point at which they exited the field. No attempts to place the rings as a single stack will occur.
