We’ve qualified for the world championships in Dallas this April, and we’re happy with the performance of it, so we were wondering if we were allowed to decorate it.
At some of the competitions we were at, we saw some robots with name plates, spray-painted metal, and even one with bug eyes. But, it’s possible that these robots passed inspection because the competitions were smaller. What will be allowed at the world competition?
Teams are allowed and encouraged to add non functional decorations to their robot. Rule <R7c> (quoted below) describes the restrictions on non functional decorations.
