Answered: Robot touching field wall at start of match

At a recent competition the head referee stated that robots may not be touching the inside of the filed wall at the start of the match. I have been unable to find this in the game manual or forums. So, my question is:

Is it legal for a robot to be in contact with the inside of the field wall at the start of the match? The field wall is not being used to support any portion of the robot or maintain the robot within it’s 18" size limit.

Let’s take a look <SG1>from the VEX Robotics Competition Starstruck Game Manual. I’ve bolded some text for emphasis:

<SG1> At the beginning of each Match, each Robot must be placed such that it is touching one of its colored Alliance Starting Tiles, not touching any Scoring Object other than those permitted by <SG2> and not touching any other foam field tiles, or another Robot. No more than one (1) Robot may start the Match on any one (1) Alliance Starting Tile.

There are no restrictions against touching the field wall at the start of the Match.
