We are having trouble with the arm staying in an upright position after it is lifted. Any advice would be great. Thanks

Try incorporating a VEX Potentiometer in the robot, that way every time the sensor detects unwanted movement from the arm it will stop it by energizing the arm motor.
Also you could use some pneumatics tubing or rubber bands to help the arm stay in place.
