I just got home from a competition where, in the finals, they announced that the competing teams would not be allowed to come around and check that the referees had got the score right before signing the score sheets. At the end of Final 3, they quickly counted the scores, cleared the field, and said that the score was 132 - 93. My team had video evidence that the score was actually 150 - 132. They eventually ended up replaying the match, I felt that this would be extreme enough for G15, as we would have won the tournament. I just wanted to verify that we are able to check the score sheets and sign them before they are entered.
This was the incorrect decision. Referees should never review videos.
This is an event level decision. Some events which have time will allow for this level of verification, while others will not.
