Answered: Scoring the Cubes, "Controlling" a Goal

Are there different amounts of points awarded to scoring in different goals? (i.e. 21" goal= 5 points, 15" goal= 3 points, etc.)

Also, how does an alliance control a goal?

No, each cube that is scored is worth one point, regardless of which goal it is scored in. Please see the “Scoring” subsection of “Section 2 - The Game” for all the scoring details.

Goals are not actually controlled. The term control applies only to the bonus cube. High Goals can be owned by an alliance if their coloured cube is the vertically highest cube* scored* within the goal. Ownership of a high goal is worth five points. Please see the “Game Definitions” subsection of “Section 2 - The Game” for exact definitions of all Elevation terms.
