would that be considered expansion? Although the robot could still fit within an 18"^3 box, it is now be more than 18" tall, if height was measured perpendicular to the foam tiles.
Assuming the previous situation would be considered expansion, would this ruling change if instead of tilting itself the robot were climbing up a ramp in an effort to elevate and as a result now rotated to became more than 18" tall, if height was measured perpendicular to the foam field tiles?
If a Robot has multiple stable configurations on a flat field, none of these configurations can exceed the 18" x 18" x 18" size restriction.
In general, the virtual “box” that surrounds your Robot will translate/rotate with the Robot. This way if your Robot rotates to climb a ramp, for example, there would be no violation of the expansion rule.
