Most SG7 Match Loads are permitted only “in” the Interaction zone.
In HSchool and College Challenge games,
may an Isolated zone robot touching the Iso zone start tile reach over the Gate to legally receive a Match Load “in” the Interaction zone?
If it is the intent of Game committee to
require that match loads restricted to a specific zone
also require the robot to touch the start tile of that specific zone,
then perhaps the following rules clarification of SG7 would help:
from
"…Robot of your own color touching an Alliance Starting Tile of your own color. "
to something like
“…Robot of your own color touching the Alliance Starting Tile of your own color in the allowed zone.”
By saying “Match Loads may only be introduced in the Interaction Zone”, it means that both the Robot must be in the Interaction Zone (i.e. touching the foam field tiles in the Interaction Zone) and the Scoring Object must be placed into the Interaction Zone.
By saying “Match Loads may only be introduced in the Interaction Zone”, it means that both the Robot must be in the Interaction Zone in legal Match Loading position (i.e. touching the Alliance Starting Tile in the Interaction Zone) and the Scoring Object must be placed into the Interaction Zone.
