Answered: Skills Loads

Appendix B obviously differentiates the loads during skills as “skills loads” (the three stars and two cubes) instead of the “driver load” (one cube) during the main game.

The definitions are slightly different as well:
Driver loads - may load onto their Alliance Station Alliance Starting Tile or into a Robot touching the Alliance Station Alliance Starting Tile.

Skills loads - may load onto the Alliance Station Alliance Starting Tile or into their Robot at any point during a Skills Match.

It was pointed out that noticeably absent is that the robot has to be touching the starting tile. There are other differences (Skills loads can be loaded at any time, etc), was it intentional that teams may load the Skills Loads onto their robot that may not be touching the starting tile as long as they stay in the driver station?

This part carries over from the Game Manual. To be clear, Robots must be touching their Alliance Station Alliance Starting tile to be loaded with a Skills Load.
