Is it legal to cut an extension wire, and then use it for a free-floating 360-degree system?
(cut the wire, separate the wires, putting them in contact with a swiveling platform, and then create tracks for the other end of the wire to be in constant contact with it’s other end…)
(diagram of rough concept can be found here: http://picasaweb.google.com/joseph.e.miller/Robotics#5563368003421715522)
Also, is it legal to remove the protective coating from a wire to provide a contact surface that can easily be wrapped around a surface for the aforementioned idea?
The reason for doing this is to allow for motors on a turret that can rotate freely, without having to worry about wires that will get tangled.
Thanks in advance!
Neither of these modifications are legal as they are in violation of <R15a>
