The definition of “hanging with a ball” suggests that it is possible for two robots to hang with ONE large ball and so long as they are both touching the ball they will both count as “hanging with a ball” for a total of 40 points.

A robot is considered to be hanging with a ball if it is hanging and touching a large ball of your alliances color …] and is not touching another non hanging robot of your own alliance.

If two say blue robots are both considered high hanging and both touching a single large ball, are they both considered “hanging with a ball?”

I’ll quote the rule just so everyone can see the answer. Some text has been bolded for emphasis.

Hanging With A Ball – A Robot is considered to be Hanging With A Ball if it is Hanging and touching a Large Ball of your Alliance’s Color that is not touching a foam field tile and is not touching another non Hanging Robot of your own Alliance.

Note: A Robot will never be considered Hanging With A Ball with more than one Large Ball. A Large Ball can only be counted towards a single robot Hanging With A Ball.

A single Large Ball can only be counted toward a single robot Hanging With A Ball.
