Answered: Team ID Plates Required?

Hey Karthik,

Looking for an official ruling here regarding Team ID#'s. As per the manual it states that team ID plates need to be mounted on two opposing sides of the robot, however in the inspection check list it only states that the team ID# needs to be clearly displayed.

That being said, if a team were to make custom side plates that clearly display their team ID# is this acceptable, or must the supplied team ID# plates from the welcome kit be used as well?

The supplied plates must be present on the robot. Custom side plates are allowed, but cannot be used in lieu of the Team ID Plates.
