If a robot is accidentally tipped by their opponent during autonomous do they remain tipped for the driver operated period as well or can they be allowed to pick their robot up before driver control begins?

Yes, the match will continue to be played with the robot tipped over. Tipping is handled and ruled in the exact same way in both the autonomous and driver controlled period.
