At previous World Championships, there have been differing rulings from division to division pertaining to the use canned air, specifically: can spraying “upside down”.

What will the official policy be pertaining to the use of canned air or coolant sprays this year?

There are no rules preventing the use of compressed air or coolant sprays to cool motors. These are legal for use, regardless of the orientation of the can.
