As per rule <R5>

It is stated that VEXpro products which are not cross-listed are NOT VRC/VEX U legal, however no where is the use of VEX IQ components mentioned.

Is the use of mechanical components from the VEX IQ platform allowed?

(not including motors / sensors / control system; we should all know that <G1> takes precedence here)

The VEX IQ platform is not a part of the VEX Robotics Design System, thus its components are not legal for use in the VRC. However, any VEX IQ parts which are also cross listed as VEX Robotics Design System parts are still legal.
