Are we allowed to add user functions to our program?
So that in our program our user functions would be

autonomous
operator controlled
left turn
right turn
forward
etc…

I don’t know would that interfere with the template so double checking before I have to completely redo the program at competition.

Yes, you are allowed and encouraged to make user-defined functions.
