We are using VELCRO on our bot. Is there a specific strength that we can use or can we use any strength? We ran out of the VELCRO we ordered and it is too close to the competition to order more from VEX. We could only find industrial strength. Is this acceptable.
There is no specific strength listing on the official VEX Velcro. Inspectors at the event will make the final determination of legality. However, most Velcro commercially sold as “industrial strength” should be acceptable as an identical replacement for VEX Veclro, provided it is identical in all other aspects, especially dimensions.
