Hi,

When I try to use the Vex Battery Holder .step file from the archives, it comes up with an error and the bottom portion doesn’t look right although the lid and batteries are fine (I get the same result in either Inventor or Alibre). Could you re-output the original model as a .step again?

Hey Mark,
The original model I have, as an abnormality sticking out of the bottom piece. This is the best output I could manage, re-exporting it will not solve the problem.

If the abnormality is annoying you enough, I suggest redrawing the part.
(I would be happy to post the re-drawn version on www.VexCAD.com if it is accurate enough.)

Thanks - it’s not a big problem and we can redraw the part. We only need to base profile, anyway, in order to assemble it to a bracket we’re designing.
