We recieved a Protobo Robotic Kit and a Booster Kit… How many “kits” are we allowed to use? I know it says no more than 10 motors or servos. I do not know what is all in the kit we recieved b/c I just got it, but how many parts or kits are we allowed to join to make our robot for competition? I know it has to be 18x18x18, other than that I have no idea. I am new to this competition and just want to get a heads up.

The full restrictions on parts for the VEX Robotics Competition can be found in the VEX Round Up Game Manual found on this page. There is no restriction on the amount of “kits” you can use, however there are restrictions on certain parts. You mentioned one with the 10 motor+servo limit, but there are others for certain parts including batteries (you can use 1 or 2 depending on use of the power expander) and microcontrollers (you can only used 1). You’ll need to read through Section 4 of the manual to become familiar with all these restrictions.
